Multimedia Center Software
The Multimedia Center is located on the 2nd floor Learning Commons of Alden Library. The Multimedia Center offers 16 iMacs (Macintosh) workstations equipped with a full range of software, Adobe Creative Cloud Software Suite plus many others for creating in print, web, and multimedia formats. Desktop scanners are also available for document creation, scanning film or 35mm slides. Two iMac’s are configured with VCR/DVD/TV combo and two iMacs have Mini DV tape decks to enable import, export and viewing of video files.
**Final Cut Pro (Professional Video Editing Software) is available on 6 iMac computers in the Multimedia Center. They are located near the back wall of the Multimedia Center. Look for the computers labeled “Final Cut Pro Installed”
Multimedia Center computers are available when the 2nd floor Learning Commons is open.

Student Multimedia Specialists staff a service desk located within the Multimedia Center.
This desk is staffed:
- Monday thru Thursday: 9:30 am to Midnight
- Friday: 9:30 am to 10 pm
- Saturday: 11:00 am to 8 pm
- Sunday: Noon to Midnight
Additional Mac computers are available on the 3rd floor of Alden Library.

With Safari Books Online, you can search for technology related books; specific chapters in technology books or software help videos. Topics include help with learning specific computer software/programs or to help you improve your technology related skills. You can also search for Safari Books Online from our home page under the Databases tab.
