How do I find audiobooks?
The Libraries have around 3,000 audiobook titles in the collection. They are in a variety of formats: cassette tape, compact disc, and MP3 disc. How do I get something that’s not in ALICE library catalog or OhioLINK? Or that is not online?
When you cannot find book or article in Ohio, we will try to borrow it from another U.S. library or in some cases international library. You start this process by making either “book” or “article” request through Interlibrary Loan-Illiad. Provide as much citation information as you know as this will help expedite the process.
How do I find fiction?
Unlike public libraries, most college and university libraries (including Alden Library) do not have a separate “fiction section.” Our system of call numbers organizes literature of all types according to its original language and/or country of origin.
